Terms of Service
Last updated · 17 April 2026
The short version: you pay us $5–25 for a passport, visa, or ID photo rendered to a country’s published specification. We render what the spec says. We are not a government agency and we do not submit anything on your behalf. If the issuing authority rejects the photo we delivered because it doesn’t match the spec published on its page, we refund the order price in full.
Who we are
Passready is a service of Appwide OÜ, a private limited company incorporated in Estonia. In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “Passready” mean Appwide OÜ. “You” means the person or entity using the service.
The service
When you purchase a photo, we render a JPEG (or a printed photo, for SKUs that require printing) to the specification published on that country’s page at the time of your purchase. The specification is drawn from the official issuing authority and cited on each page.
Not a government agency
Passready is a private company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency, embassy, or consulate. Every specification is drawn from public official sources. We do not process, submit, or forward your application — you submit to the relevant authority yourself.
Pricing and payment
Prices are displayed in USD on each country’s page. Payment is processed by Stripe. Applicable VAT, sales tax, or GST is calculated by Stripe Tax at checkout based on your location and is displayed before you confirm the charge.
Refund policy
We refund the full order price if the issuing authority rejects your photo solely for non-compliance with the specification as published on its page at the time of your order.
To claim a refund we need:
- Your order ID.
- A photograph or screenshot of the rejection notice from the issuing authority.
- The claim submitted within 30 days of the rejection.
We do not refund:
- Rejections unrelated to the photo — application errors, document issues, missing fees, clerk discretion.
- Visa denial of any kind.
- Travel costs, re-booking costs, or consequential damages of any kind.
Your obligations
You warrant that the photo you upload is of yourself, or of a subject who has consented to the processing.
You must not use Passready to generate photos for fraudulent purposes, identity misrepresentation, or any activity prohibited by law in your jurisdiction or the issuing authority’s jurisdiction.
Rights to your content
You retain ownership of your uploaded photo. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to process it solely to produce your order output, for the period required to deliver that order. We delete the uploaded photo and the rendered output within 24 hours of delivery.
We do not train machine-learning models on user photos. This rule is non-negotiable.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen outages may occur without prior notice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or in connection with your use of Passready is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) the order price of the specific order giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for lost profits, lost travel costs, missed applications, emotional distress, or any consequential or indirect damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be lawfully excluded — including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
EU consumer rights
If you are an EU consumer, mandatory rules of your country of residence apply in addition to these terms. You have the right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days of delivery, unless the service has been fully performed with your explicit prior consent — by purchasing and downloading a rendered photo you consent to immediate performance and waive the right of withdrawal for that specific order.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Tallinn, Estonia, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to active customers and by updating the text on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
